Specially designed for use in making bath salts & bath bombs but also work in all kinds of water based cosmetic projects.
Liquid lakes are a DYE (not a pigment) mixed in glycerine. They are water soluble and will colour the bath water you put it into. If you use too much in order to make a really strong colour you run the risk of staining the bath or a washcloth, so use a light touch.
Cosmetic grade, not stable in high pH (so will morph in cp soap) and will bleed (ok to use when you want just the one shade of colour for your soap but would not be suitable if you wanted layers, swirls or embeds in your soap as the colour will bleed/migrate into the surrounding colours).
Suggested usage rate: 1 drop of Liquid Lake turns one 1 tablespoon of salt to a medium shade.
Ingredients:
FD&C Blue #1 Aluminum Lake (aka CI Food Blue #2) - CI Number 42090, CAS 860-22-0
Aluminum Hydroxide - CAS 21645-51-2
Glycerin - CAS 56-81-5
